Hello guys! I've seen all the hype about this concealer and thought I would try it out for myself and let you know what my honest thoughts and opinion is! I also wanted to compare it to my all time favourite concealer so lets go..

Price: £4.00

Where to buy: Superdrug or TAMbeauty

Shade Range: This concealer has 18 shades which I think is brilliant compared to other brands.

Application: It comes with quite a big doe foot applicator compared to normal drug store concealers I have previously bought as you can see in the photo. I prefer that if i'm honest because when I apply my concealer I only have to dip it back into the tube once it total and that's when I open it so I do prefer that!

Colour Match: I got the lightest shade in C1 because without fake tan I have very pale skin so I like to get the lightest shade to brighten up my under eyes.

Coverage: I found the coverage to be brilliant if i'm honest! I've never tried a high end expensive concealer but I also feel like I don't need too.. considering I can get coverage this good for only £4 i'd rather save my money and forever buy this!
It doesn't at all feel cakey or heavy on the face and blends out really well.

Matte or Dewy: I would say this concealer has a dewy finish but nothing a little bit of powder can't fix if you want a matte finish.

Lasting Finish: I don't feel like this concealer creased at all under my eyes. Even thought after I apply my foundation and concealer I always set my face with powder and because this concealer is dewy I feel like it didn't keep my oils at bay.. what I mean by that is I have an oily t-zone so my forehead, nose and chin get oily and normally when I use my usual concealer it does last for a good 8 hours however my face seems to not stay as oil free since using this on my forehead and chin but I suppose that's nothing a little face powder can't fix.

Comparing it to the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer: I have loved this concealer for a lot of years now and its the one I always repurchase (you can read more about it here). This concealer compared to the MUR one has a matte finish which I prefer but then it has a small doe foot applicator so I have to dunk back into the tube about 3 times for the areas I want to conceal. Also the collection concealer doesn't have as many shades or even close to the number of different shades that the MUR does. That is my comparison of both concealers but in fact I love them both.

Final Verdict:
I have to say for only £4 this concealer is bloody brilliant! I love the design of the packaging its so professional and sleek (looks expensive). I would definitly buy again next time I run out and also may try the deeper shades to contour. I would 100% recommend!

I hope you enjoyed this review and stay tuned for the next blog post!

Love,  MATbeauty
